According to the conservative news site, The Daily Caller, Hope Hicks has been named the new White House Communications Director.
The report shows that Trump offered the position to Hicks and she accepted. She is apparently “one of the most trusted staffers,” who has been by Trump’s side since “the early days of the campaign.”
Hicks has not commented yet on the matter.
There has not been a public confirmation yet either.
If Hicks is confirmed, she will be the next communications director, replacing Anthony Scaramucci. Scaramucci only served 10 days before he was ousted.
Hicks is a 28-year-old who has been serving as the White House director of strategic communications. She was a model before this job and came to the White House with zero political experience. Before this point, she has been primarily maintaining a behind the scenes role. There are rumors floating around saying that she is Trump’s girlfriend.
Hope Hicks is the new WH comms director…she's never tweeted or done an on-record interview, part of the reason she's avoided trouble
