While visiting a disaster zone, Trump manages to make it seem like a rally- “What a crowd, what a turnout” (Video)

On Tuesday, Trump flew to Texas in response to Hurricane Harvey. While he was addressing the crowd outside a firehouse in Corpus Christi, Trump marveled at the crowd that showed up as if he were at a rally.

Trump climbed on top of a firetruck to address the people.

“Thank you, everybody. I just want to say. We love you. You are special. We are here to take care, and it’s going well. And I want to thank you for coming out. We will get you back and operating immediately. Thank you, everybody. What a crowd, what a turnout,” Trump said.



He then went on to thank Gov. Greg Abbott and the two state senators, Ted Cruz and John Cornyn, calling it “a total cooperative effort.”

He added, “It’s historic, it’s epic, but I tell you it happened in Texas, and Texas can handle anything.”

Trump then ended his speech by holding up a Texas flag which was followed by loud cheers.
