It seems as though the man-child we have for president is exhausted from working so hard to fail to pass many of the major legislation that he has promised. So he has decided to go on a two and a half week long vacation in August. However, he demanded that Congress stay and work.
He announced that he would be going to his Bedminster, New Jersey, golf course from August 3 to 20. There was an announcement by the FAA that advised that there would be temporary flight restrictions in the Bedminster area during that time.

During a lunch meeting on Wednesday, Trump told GOP senators to cancel their August recess and stay until they repeal Obamacare.
“We shouldn’t leave town until this is complete,” Trump stated. “We should hammer this out and get it done.”
Mitch McConnell, Senate Majority Leader, has already revealed that he will be working the first two weeks of his August recess and starting his recess on the third week of the month. McConnell stated, “in order to provide more time to complete action on important legislative items and process nominees that have been stalled by a lack of cooperation from our friends across the aisle.”
After McConnell revealed he would stay, other members of the GOP followed suit so they can stay and work on health care and tax reform.
However, Chuck Schumer, Senate Minority Leader, stated that he doesn’t think that delaying their recess would not help.
“The problem the Republicans are having with health care is not time—it’s the substance of the bill,” Schumer explained. “They can spend two more weeks, two more months, two years. As long as this bill continues to cut taxes on the very wealthy and hurt working Americans, the bill is going to be as unpopular as it is today.”
Even though Trump has criticized his predecessor Barack Obama for golfing and taking vacations, Trump has already spent more time at his Mar-a-Lago resort and his Bedminster golf club. It is estimated that Trump has already spent $47,378,438 on sixteen golfing trips. He has spent a total of twenty-five days in Mar-a-Lago and eleven days in Bedminster.
Trump has the lowest approval rating than any president in his first six months in office.
