White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders revealed that it bothers her when people accuse her of being a liar.
In an interview with The New York Times, when she was asked about her liar reputation, she replied, “It certainly bothers me.” She added, “there’s a difference between misspeaking or not knowing something than maliciously lying.”
According to Sanders, she tries to give the “best and most accurate information at the time that I can.”

She noted that sometimes things become outdated or inaccurate because decisions change. Sanders stated, ” What’s true on Monday in terms of a process decision may change by Friday. And I can’t always know that things will be different.”
However, Sanders has been caught in many different lies. For example, earlier this month, during a press briefing, she was confronted about why she lied about telling reporters that Trump did not reimburse Michael Cohen for Stormy Daniels’ $130,000 hush money.
Sanders was also called out on her lying by comedian Michelle Wolf during the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner last month.
