On Twitter, Rosie O’Donnell tweeted that she would play White House strategist, Stephen K. Bannon on “Saturday Night Live” if the role is available.

She had responded to suggestions by tweeting: “I am here to serve – alec has trump – melissa has spice – i would need a few days to prepare – so if called – i will be ready.

She had also praised Melissa McCarthy calling her a “COMEDY GOD” after her Saturday Night Live portrayal as Sean Spicer over the weekend.

Since 2006, O’Donnell and Trump have been going at each other. She then criticized him for not firing an underage Miss USA winner who was caught drinking and using drugs. “He annoys me on a multitude of levels,” said O’Donnell. “He’s the moral authority? Left the first wife, had an affair, left the second wife, had an affair. … Donald: Sit and spin, my friend. I don’t enjoy him.” She also ridiculed him for his bankruptcies and challenged him about he’s a self-made man. Trump has called O’Donnell as a “pig” and many other insults over the years.

After Melissa McCarthy’s impression of Sean Spicer on Saturday Night Live, there were many recommendations on Twitter for casting.

Alan Sepinwall, TV writer suggested that Saturday Night Live go “full drag king on the whole administration.” He suggested that Alec Baldwin should take a break from the Trump role and have rotating casts of “Very Special Guest Actresses” to play Trump.
