On Saturday, Roger Stone’s twitter account has been suspended. Stone is a longtime Republican strategist and a former informal adviser to Trump.
This comes after Stone went on a profanity-laced tirade on Friday night after the news broke about the first charges were filed in the Russia scandal. Stone took aim at CNN anchor Don Lemon and Jake Tapper of “The Lead” and others.
A Twitter spokesperson declined to comment on this matter.
This is not the first time Stone’s Twitter was suspended. Back in April, he threatened Laura Keiter, the communications director for Media Matters. Also in March, he had his account suspended for violating the rules of Twitter.
Stone’s suspension on Twitter is said to be permanent.
