On Thursday, the white supremacist website, The Daily Stormer, announced that Papa John’s pizza is the official pie of the alt-right. The website posted a swastika pizza, captioned, “Papa John: Official pizza of the alt-right?”
This came after Papa John’s CEO John Schnatter blamed its company’s losses on NFL players protesting during the national anthem.
Schnatter’s comment received a lot of criticism.
But white nationalists, such as the Daily Stormer writer Adrian Sol, defended Schnatter. Sol stated, “This might be the first time ever in modern history that a major institution (NFL) is going to be completely destroyed explicitly because of public outrage over their anti-white agenda.”
He added, “The Negro fatigue caused by this whole NFL fiasco is reaching heights that even I didn’t fully expect.”
However, Peter Collins, the senior director of public relations, tried to condemn the act by sending out a message saying, “We condemn racism in all forms and any and all hate groups that support it.”

He continued, “We do not want these individuals or groups to buy our pizza.”
This is not the first time the far-right has endorsed certain brands but the brands all quickly disassociate themselves when it happens.
