On the same day Trump has issued a full endorsement of accused child molester Roy Moore, Mitt Romney had some harsh words for the GOP Senate candidate.
“Roy Moore in the US Senate would be a stain on the GOP and on the nation,” Romney posted on Twitter at 3:44 Central time. “Leigh Corfman and other victims are courageous heroes. No vote, no majority is worth losing our honor, our integrity.”

Romney’s tweet came just hours after Trump officially endorsed Moore. Trump tweeted: “Democrats refusal to give even one vote for massive Tax Cuts is why we need Republican Roy Moore to win in Alabama,” he tweeted. “We need his vote on stopping crime, illegal immigration, Border Wall, Military, Pro Life, V.A., Judges 2nd Amendment and more.”
It only took about 30 minutes for Roy Moore to issue a response to Romney via Twitter.
“Either @MittRomney has lost his courage or he doesn’t care about truth anymore. Sad day!”
“America’s reawakening was led by @realDonaldTrump, not you Mitt.”

This isn’t the first time Romney has come out against Moore. Earlier this month he tweeted: “Innocent until proven guilty is for criminal convictions, not elections. I believe Leigh Corfman. Her account is too serious to ignore. Moore is unfit for office and should step aside.”
Romney has been reportedly considering a run for Senate next year in Utah after Senator Hatch may retire. However, while Trump was on his Monday trip to Utah, he made a statement that he hopes Senator Hatch considers reelection. Romney may have taken offense to this.
