On Wednesday, it was reported by Axios that Trump has been physically mocking John McCain in private.
He has been imitating McCain’s thumbs down motion to cast a “no” vote for the last Obamacare repeal vote.
After the report came out, his daughter, Meghan McCain was quick to condemn the act tweeting:
What more must my family be put through right now? This is abhorrent. https://t.co/xJmFdh93xL

On Thursday, Senator John McCain spoke out about what Trump did.
“I regret that he’s doing it, but there’s nothing I can do about it,” McCain stated.
“Those are the ones that I am representing and so, do I like it? No. But does it bother me? Not particularly,” McCain added.
Earlier this year, McCain was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer. He is also known for not being able to lift his arms above his shoulders because of the injuries he suffered when he was a prisoner of war in Vietnam.
This is not the first time Trump has mocked McCain. Back in 2015, Trump stated, “I like people who weren’t captured,” something that Trump still has not apologized for.
