Ivanka Trump made a deal to become the first female president (Details)

According to a new book, Ivanka Trump wants to be the first female president of the United States.

In “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” the new book by Michael Wolff, Ivanka’s choice to join her father’s campaign was to boost her own resume for president. It’s reported that she and her husband Jared were advised by “almost everyone they knew” to not do so.

Michael Wolff’s book will be released on January 9. Wolff is a former White House adviser and this book is being labeled a ‘tell-all.’

“Between themselves, the two had made an earnest deal: If sometime in the future the opportunity arose, she’d be the one to run for president,” journalist Michael Wolff writes his new book.

“The first woman president, Ivanka entertained, would not be Hillary Clinton; it would be Ivanka Trump.”

Peter Alexander, a correspondent for NBC, tweeted Wednesday afternoon about Ivanka’s deal.

Wolff claims that former adviser Steve Bannon was ‘horrified’ when he learned about Jared and Ivanka’s deal.

“They didn’t say that?” Banon said. “Stop. Oh, come on. They didn’t actually say that? Please don’t tell me that. Oh my God.”

The book also discusses several disagreements Jared and Ivanka had with Steve Bannon. In return, Bannon nicknamed the pair “Javanka.”

This isn’t the first time there has been speculation in the news about Ivanka running for president. Back in October, Ivana Trump, Ivanka’s mother, wrote that her daughter could run in “maybe fifteen years” and become the first female POTUS.
