A GOP governor just slammed Trump for his use of National Guard at the border (Details)

On Friday, Brian Sandoval, the Republican governor from Nevada, expressed his disapproval for Trump sending National Guard troops to the U.S.-Mexico border.

In an email by his spokeswoman, Mary-Sarah Kinner, she revealed that Sandoval believes using troops at the border is not “an appropriate use” of the National Guard.

This revelation comes as Defense Secretary James Mattis signed a memo on Friday that would deploy up to 4,000 National Guard troops to the border.

So far, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas governors have backed the deployment. However, the governors from Oregon and Montana have both refused to follow the orders.
