George Papadopoulos’ inability to keep his mouth shut while drinking may help Special Counsel Robert Mueller again in the Russia probe.
On Thursday, at a Chicago nightclub called Hydrate, Papadopoulos made new wild claims about Jeff Sessions.
Jason Wilson, Papadopoulos’ new friend and computer engineer, revealed Papadopoulos claimed that “Sessions encouraged” him to “find out anything he could about the hacked Hillary Clinton emails.”
According to Wilson, Papadopoulos then allegedly went on to claim that the Russia probe is “just getting started” and continued to talk about Sessions’ role in the scandal.

Papadopoulos’ wife, Simona Mangiante, confirmed that she and her husband met Wilson at Hydrate. She even acknowledged the three talked about the Russia probe. However, she insisted that Papadopoulos did not talk about Sessions’ role. But when she was asked if Wilson’s story was false, she simply replied “no comment.”
Later that evening, Mangiante messaged Wilson on Twitter saying their conversation at the nightclub was a “misunderstanding.” She added, “There is nothing George could reveal about the investigation apart from commenting what is already public.”
This is not the first time Papadopoulos has exposed information about the Russia probe after having a few drinks.
Back in May 2016, while having drinks with an Australian diplomat, he bragged that Russians have dirt on Hillary Clinton. His claims then triggered an investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.
