On Wednesday, Melania Trump visited a children’s hospital in Washington D.C. where she talked about the “power of nature” to heal the sick kids.
“I am a passionate believer in integrating and interpreting nature’s elements into our daily lives to create a warm, nurturing and positive environment,” said Melania Trump, according to a statement released by the hospital. “I believe that these same natural benefits can be instrumental to enhancing the health and well-being of all children.”
This statement comes in the midst of her husband planning to repeal the Affordable Care Act that could leave up to 13 million children without health care.

During her visit to the hospital, she planted Morning Glory seeds with the children in the Healing Garden.
Melania’s visit to the hospital comes a day after Trump had his joint address to Congress, where he talked about “repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act with reforms that expand choice, increase access, lower costs, and at the same time, provide better health care.”
