It seems as though Trump and Chief of Staff John Kelly’s relationship may be passed “the point of no return.”

Recently, there was a report explaining that Kelly has threated to quit in order to get Trump to listen to him.

Now there are reports indicating Donald has given the task to Ivanka to find a replacement for Kelly. Vanity Fair reports that “Ivanka is also playing a central role in the search, quietly field-testing ideas with people.”

According to a source who spoke with her, “Ivanka is the most worried about it. She’s trying to figure who replaces Kelly.”

The source also added that Kelly’s departure won’t be imminent because Kelly wants to last longer than his predecessor Reince Priebus.

Their relationship seemed to turn sour after Kelly’s comments on Trump’s immigration fiasco. The comments reportedly had Trump fuming and he took to Twitter to contradict Kelly.

Also, lately, Trump has been furious about Kelly’s need to instill discipline on Trump’s relaxed management style.

A Republican close to the White House revealed, “The more Kelly plays up that he’s being the adult in the room—that it’s basically combat duty and he’s serving the country—that kind of thing drives Trump nuts.”

Another source claims that Trump has been fuming to friends about the way Kelly is running the government while he is tweeting or watching tv. The source stated that Trump said,  “I’ve got another nut job here who thinks he’s running things.”

A second source confirmed that Trump has been venting about Kelly. The source used one call in particular where he says Trump said, “This guy thinks he’s running the show.”
