In a surprise turn of events, Trump has fired FBI Director James Comey. This was allegedly based on a recommendation by Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.
“Today, President Donald J. Trump informed FBI Director James Comey that he has been terminated and removed from office,” the White House statement reads.
“President Trump acted based on the clear recommendations of both Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Attorney General Jeff Sessions,” the statement said.
This follows breaking news that Comey misstated key findings in the Hillary Clinton email investigation, but this is not necessarily why he’s being dismissed. Comey has been under intense scrutiny for his Congressional testimony last week.

So who's taking over for #Comey – Eric, Don Jr, or Ivanka?
