A week ago, Tom Steyer, a billionaire and top Democratic donor, launched a $10 million nationwide campaign to impeach Trump. The ad began running last week.

On Friday, Steyer had a surprise for Trump on his favorite show, Fox & Friends. This morning was the first time the ad played on the show.

As the ad played, Steyer can be heard saying, “I’m funding this effort to raise our voices together and demand that elected officials take a stand on impeachment. A Republican Congress once impeached a president for far less, yet today people in Congress and his own administration know that this president is a clear and present danger who’s mentally unstable and armed with nuclear weapons.”

Then toward the end of the ad, it links to a website called NeedToImpeach.com.

Trump’s response to this ad was instantaneous.

He took to Twitter to criticize Steyer saying:

Steyer fired back at Trump tweeting:

Steyer even tried to get the attention of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senator Chuck Schumer to act.
