On Friday, Martin Shkreli, also known as “Pharma bro,” was found guilty of three of eight counts of security fraud.
He is notorious for raising the price of a life-saving drug by 5,000%.
The verdict came after five days of deliberations in which Shkreli could face up to 20 years in prison.
After the verdict when he was outside, he called the trial, “a witch hunt of epic proportions.”
He also went to Twitter to express his feelings about the verdict saying (Shkreli lost his main Twitter account after harassing someone):
After that witch hunt, I'll take it. MSMB investors tripled their money, on average, EXCLUDING any settlements.

The judge did not set a sentencing date. It will happen after prosecutors and defense lawyers argue the amount of money Shkreli should forfeit.
The prosecutors in the case seem very happy with the outcome. Here’s their reaction below.
