On Sunday night, near Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, a gunman opened fire on concertgoers who attended the Route 91 Harvest country music festival.  So far, police report more than 20 people killed and at least 100 injured.

Witnesses say the “nonstop gunfire” sent people outside the resort ducking for cover and fleeing for their lives.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said that one suspect is down and do not believe there are any more shooters.

There is a crisis response page on Facebook to help people figure out if their loved ones are safe.

The city’s police are asking people to avoid the area. Due to the incident, flights in and out of the McCarran International Airport are temporarily halted.

Las Vegas Police are currently looking for the “companion” of the shooter.

Her name is Marilou Danley. She is an Asian female 4 feet 11 inches (150cm) tall and weighing 111 pounds (50 kilos).

Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman tweeted:
